I hereby move without notice on behalf of the African National Congress that
the Council –

1) Note with concern the bullying behaviour of Taxi Association patrollers who stop motorists from giving people lifts
2) Also note with disappointment that this behaviour is endorsed by the taxi umbrella SANTACO who are supposed to know better that this is illegal
3) Further note that this illegal practice is happening across various provinces
4) Call on law enforcement agencies to nip this in the bud before it gets out of control
