Statement by Bouang Mashile on the community of Bushbuckidge

The community of Bushbuckidge has in the past week befallen by the dark cloud where twenty five hard working people lost their lives.The African National Congress together with her alliance partners passes her heart felt condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their lives in this tragic accident. We also want to applaud the timeous attention of the Mayor Councillor Milton Morema and his dedicated Councilors , MEC Jackson Mthembu and the President of the ANC Comrade Jacob Zuma paid, to the injured and bereaved family members. This solidarity is welcomed during this difficult times by the people of Bushbuckridge.
As we have entered the wet season , we as the ANC , would like to request all drivers on our roads to behave responsibly and drive slowly during wet days. Further to warn drivers to observe road signs and rules as we approach Christmas festive period.
