New ANC Caucus Spokesperson

The ANC Caucus wishes to announce the appointment today of cde Khotso Khumalo as its new spokesperson in Parliament. Khumalo, currently a Whip for the Portfolio Committee on Communications, became ANC Member of Parliament in 2004.
Khumalo is long-standing youth activist who served youth struggles through formations such as Ikageng Youth Congress, Congress of SA Students and Student Representative Councils. He is a former President of the Johannesburg Youth Congress, Provincial Secretary of the ANCYL in North West and Secretary of the ANCYL’s Organisational Development.
His appointment follows the resignation of cde Mpho Lekgoro as ANC MP in 2007.
