ANC saddened by the fatal murder of COSAS Westrand subregion member Nthabeleng

The fatal murder that occurred two weeks ago of Ms Nthabeleng Mokae who was raped, cuffed and burned with an acid allegedly by her boyfriend is a cause for serious concern.
We wish to send our deepest condolences to the family and community at large.
We have witnessed that GBV is a societal responsibility the police and community of Mohlakeng have worked hand in hand to ensure that the suspect is arrested. He is currently behind bars. We hope that he will not be granted bail.
