The Chief Whip of the ANC Parliamentary Caucus, comrade Pemmy Majodina, has today received her first Pfizer vaccine dose at Netcare, Old Mutual – Mutual Park, Pinelands. 

Cde Majodina registered for the vaccine after government announced the rollout of vaccines for persons aged 50 – 59. 

The Chief Whip is feeling optimistic after having the vaccine and prays for no negative symptoms. She encourages South Africans of her age group to register and go for vaccinations to protect themselves and curb the spread of Covid-19. She further calls on the youth to assist the elderly with registration. 

Cde Majodina wishes to also thank health care workers for their brave efforts as frontline warriors in the battle against Covid-19. 

Let us continue to practice safety precautions such as washing or sanitizing hands regularly, wearing masks and social distancing. The Chief Whip further urges that we all adhere to Alert Level 4 regulations.
